Our outreach convenors Lois Clotworthy and Sonali Bhaskar have launched a podcast! The aim is for people to get their steps in on their daily walk while getting advice/tips/motivation/inspiration and more to further their STEM careers!

Episode 1: A new way to uni – A chat with our President!
It’s our first episode, so we had to have a chat with our president! We talk about online uni, upcoming events & how to tackle procrastination.
EPISODE 2: HOW TO CLIMB THE CAREER LADDER
In this episode, we discuss our recent Careers and CV event with guests from the careers service and STEM ambassadors to talk about what employers are looking for in STEM applicants, as well as introducing our (online) school day for this term with our Tech Convenor!
Episode 3: Healthy Habits in the Time of Corona
Welcoming 2021 with another episode! This month, we’re talking about all things mental health. As Lois and Sonali are both are in very different parts of the world, you’ll get a chance to hear both their views on the current situation and how they’re coping! They also catch up with Leen, find out what she’s been up to and her tips on staying healthy during these trying times.

Episode 4: Failure on the Road to Success
This month we are celebrating the International Day of Women in Science, by talking to our vice pre Holly about her degree and what brought her into physics and astronomy. We also have some highlights from our panel with some successful women in STEM careers talking about how failure leads to growth.
Episode 5: Women’s Day Special with TU Dublin
In this episode we will be talking to the wonderful ladies at the WiSTEM society at TU Dublin! Awkward conversations to creating safe spaces for women across campus, we discuss it all. They also share the ups and downs of navigating university life in a pandemic.
